Tiger Woods 2006
« on: October 04, 2005, 11:46:00 AM »

Hi, I love the tiger games on the consoles and just wondered what the psp version was like in comparison, Gamespot don't have a review up yet so I don't know whether to buy it or not (it isn't out here in the UK till friday though)

The thing that I want to know the most is the control method, does it use the analogue stick like the consoles or is it some other control method? also how much of the console version has been taken out of this version? (I liked the rivals mode on the xbox, is that still on the psp version)

Soz for all the questions but I would rather pre-order it if I am going to buy it (cos you get double reward points  biggrin.gif )

Playing it right now, great game. better than 05 in ways, putting is a little harder as you have to gauge the amount of power in the swing but over all its a better game. different tournament setup as well. You play six different type of matches with each guy on the leaderboard as you work your way to number 1. I've read the putting is done better on psp than the consoles as there is no power gauge on the consoles when you putt. Either way it has consumed most of my time on psp so if you like golf its a great game.

I can't wait to try TW '06. That franchise rocks.
