"not to run illegal games."

i don't get it, how would this exploit not allow an app like fastloader to do its job, as long as the exploit can run homebrew apps, it can run fastloader and all of its games that fastloader runs, correct?

They are saying that they have exploited the psp v2.0 to intentionally run 'homebrew' not to allow the piracy of games. Even though it will be possible to run pirated games their main aim was to get it to run homebrew.

i see what you mean, and that makes sense, but you are saying that fastloader should be fully functional on this exploit of the information given, right?

people arent exactly sure how this exploit will work. who even knows if it will even give full homebrew support beyond 64k graphic demo's. with more dev support, it probally will, but i think the coding and such is different than what you would code with a 1.0 or a 1.5

(EDIT: oo, on psp updates, there is a pong demo for 2.0. maybe im wrong  :P )

Is it hacked or not?  I'm thinking about buying Burnout Revenge, which makes you upgrade to 2.0.  I like the idea of  a web browser and backgrounds and such, but I still want my apps/emulators/etc....
