Disabling Dvd Drive With Ude?

pretty sure there is a jumper method but you have to solder something not to sure though hopefully some one comes that knows

As long as you have the PCB where you plug in the ide and power cables plugged in it will show a dvd drive present. All you need is that one PCB the rest of the drive doesnt have to be there.
