Power Problem

QUOTE
The most common problems are bad solder connections to the LPC usually caused by a soldering iron with too low a wattage, or damage to the BT point resistor, which results in the Xbox powering on as soon as the plug is put into the wall. The resistor will need replacing with another 10k OHM resistor if this happens.

hope it helps

Nevertheless, something's broken in there.  wink.gif  What dashboards and softmods you've setup on the hard drive make no difference to this matter.

If you unplug the front panel from the motherboard, does it still act the same way?

Check the following, as you may have corrosion problems:

Please let us know if that is your problem.
