Did you run the exploit all the way through to re-mod the Xbox?

UPDATE:

So 160gb HD boots to MS Dash just fine when I first stick it in the xbox after locking and xboxhdm. When i boot into the gamesave hack, i have the options the uninstall, deactivate, acvtivate, and so forth. When I do uninstall and attempt to reboot, i get error 13. When i boot into the gamesave again i try and reinstall the softmod, and it fails at the .06 or .67 HD option and says something about action failed rename or something. This is the point where i re-unlocked it, re-xboxhdm it, and relock it once again. And Im back to square 1 with booting to the MS dash. What could possibly be the problem?

What Softmod installer are you using?

I ran into a similar issue when I first softmodded my box.  The problem for me was that once softmodded (I used Ndure 1.1) it hides the Evox and other hacked files in a file called shadowc, leaving only the MS dash files visible.  You have to un-hide these files and move them over with the rest of your C:\ when you build the xboxhdm disc.

Using NDure, its easy to get the xbox to un-hide the shadowc by using Krayzie's Extras.  You'll have to enter a password (it should be in the readme files for Ndure), but then you should be able to FTP ALL of the c:\ to your computer.

I used Krayzie's Ndure UXE on a MA gamesave hack. So I should use the PC version of Ndure to get the files unhidden? Will this mess up my stock HD somehow? And do I need to somehow rehide them once I make the xboxhdm disk? And will Ndure on the PC be able to do the actual FTP or am I gonna use FlashFXP? Sorry, I just dont wanna break what seems to work right now lol, no sense in messin up my stock HD.

You shouldn't need to screw with the PC version of Ndure.

You'll need to find an App called "Krazyie's extras' it can found in the usual places, and might already be in one of the folders you have for Ndure.  It will go into your "Apps" folder on the E:\.  Place it on your Stock HD.

Once thats installed you'll need to launch Krazyie's Extras from the Apps menu.  From there I'm a little fuzzy on the details, but I know you'll have to enter a password and say ok to a "What you do in here is your own risk" message.  Also, if your LED isn't already set to red, it will turn red once everything is un-hidden.

From in that menu I believe you can set up your FTP settings (I don't think this menu takes its info from Evox settings) and then using FLASHFXP -  FTP into the box and copy the COMPLETE C:\ to your computer. From there build a new XBOXHDM disc and re-build your 160GB hd with it.

you can not "reuse" a used gamesave
you need to delete the old, and reload the gamesave from the mem card
and start with stock MS C:\ (you had that because you FTP the shadowC files instead of the real C in the first place) and delete the E:\dashboard before you start the new install
you really should use a NDURE gamesave, but you can use CASH disk to update later

Okay, im excited. All I had to do once the 160 booted up to MS dash was reinstall the gamesave from the memory card, and subsequently rerun it from the game. All is well now my 160 boots up to evox fully recognized. I had xboxhdm right the first time, i just had to reinstall my gamesave. thanks for all the help!
