Xbox Wireless Network Adapter With Xbmc Dashboard

MN740, yes it will work fine
but you need a working MS dash to set it up
as with any wireless G adapter FTP speeds will be slow (2.5MB/s or less)

i cant get my ms dash to work i used SID v1 or2 so i cant configure wireless why is that and why isnt ms dash accessible?

Well, some earlier softmods require patching of the MS Dash. Sometimes the option isn't available at all. I had to work through the same problem, and at that time I did not know I could even get the MS Dash to be patched. Anyway, I discovered that the xbox wireless adapter is basically the D Link Dgl 3420 108AG wireless to ethernet bridge badged as a microsoft item, and you can indeed flash the D Link firmware on it, thus enabling you to configure it with a normal computer, then slap it on the table/floor near the xbox.

Try this tutorial:

As an added bonus, it is supposed to support wpa security (which was the entire focus of the article), but I have not tried that.

Good Luck!
