As a kai member i have always loved the totally free aspect of it(unlike XBC). I would hope the admins and programmers of Kai would not be bought. Maybe if kai were just a free gaming service for psp that Sony advertised for but wasn't Owned by sony.  Say if kai were to stay itself(free) but sony were to support it and give it better servers and such to promote it's product. I like the idea that sony support kai but not own it.
