Uk 1.5 Firmware For Downgrade

Just about to downgrade, and have hit a bit of a problem, the only 1.5 firmware i see in links is the US version, which i belive will switch my video region to (1) ??, i already have a few UMD movies, so, i need to get hold of the UK 1.5 firmware to keep my video region at region (2) (PAL).

If anyone knows where i can find it, or link me to it, if allowed. that would be great.

btw, i dont know for sure that the video region is stored in the firmware, but i would think it is, if not, can anyone confirm i can use the US 1.5 and still watch region 2 movies.

I forgot Japan was region 2, im thinking its region 3 for some reason, i guess there is no "uk firmware" and EU and Japan share the same firmware.
