Check Firmware From S/n Of Box?

i'm selling my psp on ebay that i just got, haven't opened it yet, and i don't want to, but someone wants to know if it still has the 1.5 firmware, is there anyway to check from the box?

Yes there is.  If you look towards the serial number you will see towards the top a "120V" typed out.  What you are looking for is whats under "120V"  If there is nothing there then it has 1.00 or 1.50 firmware, if under the "120V" is a "A" it is 1.50 firmware, if there is a "B" its 1.51, if there is a "C" its 1.52 firmware.
