Ok, first off, i have only had my PSP for 2 days now. I got extremely lucky because my local target still had a couple of 1.50 PSP's instock so i bought one as soon as i saw that "A" on the box. However, i have been following all the PSP sites for the last week or two and the first thing i noticed about the "psp-scene" is that it is CHAOTIC! Everyone is making up fake ways to downgrade, throwing around rumors, calling these people fake and what not. There is absolutly no unity in the psp community like there is in the xbox community here at X-S. This really disappointed me because X-S is really the place where i was introduced to modding ANYTHING. My xbox is the very first system i ever modded and i owe it to all the great people here at the Xbox-Scene Community. I have learned so much from the people here. And when i started to try and get into the PSP community everyone is bitching blah blah blah. I was really hoping for a great modding community like X-S but everyone in the PSP community seemed to rely on yoshihiro and alonetrio to make a downgrader and donated money and just left it to WAB and psp-dev. Well now psp-dev has said they are breaking all ties and i dont know what to believe. Everyone is saying that it is WAB's fault and that they scammed all those people who donated and i would have to say that after all the reading that i have done it does seem that way. As i said, i am still a "n00b" in the psp community, and i was lucky enought to find a 1.50 psp and i'm not going to update it for ANYTHING. I just hope that this is a phase that the psp community is going through and that they all mature a little bit because if this is the attitude that its going to have then modding the PSP is not going to be any fun nor get very far.
Also, when i was doing all this reading i read that Team Xecuter stated that they successfully made a downgrader but they refused to release it. Is this true? And if it is why would Team X not release? I think that if Team X released this downgrader it would be just the boost the PSP community needs and it would further enhance Team Xecuters popularity even more. I know that whenever i think modding xbox's i always think the contributions that Team Xecuter made and i would think it would be good if the same was true for the PSP.
