Dvd Drive Failed - Error 07

think i have got it sorted, have got a few dvds / cd-rws preped and hoping i can get it to boot.

Thinki need to do very very quick press of power button as i have a 1.6 xbox.

should be all good tonight! missus will be put on hold for a night wink.gif

Error 07 - HDD Timeout
Your HD might be dying or isn't connected properly. If you hear clicking from the HD, your HD is shot.

drive is ok, sounds ok to me and it boots when dvd is removed.

I think my x3ce is soldered wrong tho, I get nothing but a red "x" on the selecter switches on the front. I have resoldered all that looked a bit off. but still get red x.

should I remove chip n start again?
