well the launchers only work with 1.00 and 1.50. If you were to buy a psp in europe when its released it will be 2.00, which means no homebrew for you, along with everyone in euope who buys their psp on launch day. Your best bet for a 1.50 is ebay, but i havent seen much since $ony started cracking down on importers. And it doesnt matter if ur psp is US or JAP.
**EDIT** BTW you cannot downgrade firmware at this time, so what you buy is what you get.
