i find it runs better than the snes one, which has kind of given me grief.  I can't get the SNES emu to play any castlevania at acceptable speed, the background effects slow it right down as long as sound is enabled.

the big slowdown in SNES is usually due to transparency being enabled. disable it if the game doesn't need it. sound will be an issue as well.

the menu is brought up by moving the analog pad to the left.
analog pad:
left - menu
right - enable/disable sound
up/down - raise/lower frameskip

for me its currently

uoSNES9X_v0.02y13 for snes and PSP_Genesis_v0.13 for genesis.

I find turning transparancy off has a much greater effect than frameskip for making it more playable, though if the game uses it, then frameskip it is.

for the genesis I find render mode to cell and cpu to 333 helps the slower games out a bit (square button and x button in the menu)

yeah. i used pspgenesis. As of right now im liking snes a little better, once genesis has more options to tweak settings and screen size, then ill try it out again.
