Are you using doom v0.01 or v0.02, and did you put the .wad file on the mem stick?

Yeah, on MS1 you should have the appropriate eboot.pbp and on MS2 you should have the appropriate eboot.pbp, doom1.wad, and the save folder... but memory stick swapping will be obsolete tomorrow, so just wait til tomorrow for the new KXploit and see if it works then.

what's tomorrow's kxploit?

edit: nvm saw it on psp hacker

and one more thing, have you tried winmx for psp, the only programs i've gotten to boot were some of the emulators, i tried winmx which is like a dream come true, portable file sharing? holy crap that'd be awesome, but when i try it, it says "this application canot be started, have you tried it?

I'm noticing many of the homebrew and emu releases are very picky about folder names and file placement.   Early versions usually are, with less hard coded file references in later revisions.

yeah winmx is a bullshit file.  it doesn't work.  fake fake fake.

the doom folder must be doom-psp. do not use the doom with the file selector as for some reason it feels the need to copy the game to another directory to run, and 32mb sticks most lilely dont have that space. stick with regular doom 0.2 and use the kxploit to folder it as doom-psp. you put the .wad file in doom-psp not %doom-psp
