Xir Easy Kit

I'm moving an XIR Easy Kit [link] from my v1.4 xbox to a softmoded v1.6.

The kit worked fine in my 1.4, but it won't work no matter what configuration listed on the installation guide I use, it wont work in the 1.6.

I put it back in the old box to ensure it was working, and it did. But it still won't work in the 1.6.

Has anyone installed one of these in a 1.6? Do they only partially work on this xbox version?
