This just in from ps2nfo.com:

QUOTE
Update #2: PaWsTick from the PsP-Dev Team has now confirmed that their exploit does NOT run on v1.51 firmware either, so $ony did a nice quick job of fixing their 1.50 holes it appears. On the bright side, many in the USA already have a v1.50 PSP... and those who don't can still run out and grab one without the fear of it being a later firmware version for the time being.

Update: PaWsTick from the PsP-Dev Team has now confirmed that their exploit does NOT run on v1.52 firmware. They haven't tested it on v1.51 yet, but rest assured we'll mirror a news update here with the results when they do. I'm glad I didn't update my firmware though beyond v1.50 just in case.

Wonderful it's the news that most of us were hoping for, but I wonder what is the significance June 15th is? Also will Sony software start checking for hacked firmware?

One more then, watch the video one more time ...

and when the program is "launched" look for a backlight ... don't see one? Me neither..

Now, wait for the real hello world program to start, oh shit .. it's back =p

Wait I'm confused.  Why is anyone using ps2nfo for information and for that matter taking it as truth?

I've seen it announced other places but if thats the initial source dont hold your breath guys.

some new screens of an 'finished' version of their program got placed online @ psp-scene

http://www.psp-scene...pic&p=1928#1928

you can judge for yarself , i think it might be real if you take a real close look
at the video and say it's fake then you have to admit it has been done real professional....and then why waste so much time on making something that doesn't exists.....

I believe the 15th signifigance is the 1.5 firmware. Could be wrong.

I'm fricking flying all day on Wednesday, so I guess I"ll have to wait until Thursday.
