There's a glitch that let's an image stay in the background for a bit.
I think you view an image off the memory stic then press home or something.

like strangeone you can use an img or a video in pause mode as a bg. but sa soon as you go in to another menu it disapers. you have to press home or select.

If you have a 1.0 you could try dumping the lframe0 device to memory, editing the internal FAT12 filesystem to have your new image in it, and re-flash your device.
but don't try that at home, you'll probably brick the psp.
