just wondering, i've been hearing about how they dumped umds, i have 2 questions

1.  are these umds dumped using that v1.0 bios or they did it even on the new psps?

2. umds are huge, at least 1.5 to 3 gigs maybe, i haven't heard any news, but has anyone heard any news about how umd backups would be played?  a memorystick would maybe barely hold one game, but they're so expensive, has anyone named any other ways?

i agree taht there could be patches to boot it from the duo, but the highest memory stick duo i've seen that is affordable is 1g, how do you think backups would be able to fit on there in your opinion, if games are at the most 1.8 gigs like you said

ahhh i gotcha, that makes sense

i was also thinking of this, and i'm not sure if it could ver be a possibility or not, maybe you could tell me, but maybe if you could access games via the wireless network? or that wouldn't be possible

I think running emulators and what not will start on the stick but we may eventually get streaming abilities for some gaming. Their is a really well programed PS1 emu for the pocket pc that streams the iso from over the network and work surprisingly well.

Personally sony kinda of has everyones nuts in a bunch, 1 Gig Duo sticks are about 100+ US Dollars... Being that there is no real purpose other than trial to backup a game. Shit, 2 gig sticks are way 200+ at least, at the moment im pretty much just interested in any linux or emulation ports, if a game is good I will definatly buy it... who knows, a good idea would be if you could USB the game or network it somehow, that would be worthwhile.
