i'm not sure about the transfer rate, but i would think it would be dependent on the controller and marginally on the file system.

Thanks for the info. Also, if the PSP can't handle the 2GB duo do you have any idea on what would the reason be, or would a regular 2GB stick through a duo modification work?

That's what I thought. The only reason I had doubt, was from not to many people mentioning it. I bet once the price goes down a bit it will be much more appealing.
