Hey guys, I have an Xbox, and I recently softmodded it and changed out the hard drive to a 200GB hard drive. I read on the forum somewhere that if you change the hard drives, you need to get a new Eeprom in order to play on Xbox Live, because its suppposed to link your old hard drive with your Eeprom or something and if you change it they'll know that you've modded you Xbox.
My question is; since I've never been on Xbox Live, or even connected my Xbox to the internet. Could I change my hard drive and use my old Eeprom and still get on xbox live? Because in order for them to "marry" your hard drive to your Eeprom number, you have to connect to Xbox live. Since I never been on my Eerpom should be clean right? Do I need to get a new one or can I just use my old one?
