Ok, so I got this older IBM style clicky keyboard. The problem is its DIN, and I can't find a DIN to Mini DIN connector, so I found a USB pinout and from the website it said it would work to just wire the damn thing up. Except it doesn't, it keeps telling me that its an unrecognized USB device, is there a way to make this work or should I just order a DIN to Mini DIN connector?

You have a 0% chance of that AT-keyboard working as a USB device.  Only option is to buy an AT-to-PS/2 adapter.
