Hi, a friend of mine asked me to look at her modded v1.0 box which won't boot at all anymore (no video, flashing red/green light) Idon't know who did her mod, but by the looks of it its a basic TSOP (no idea which bios) with a online/offline switch installed. She told me it could be due to an electrical spike (which I doubt because she has pretty good surge protection). I'm at a loss here trying to determine if this is something I can fix (my limits are replacement of defective parts, and minor soldering).
