I seem to be having a problem with several Xboxes lately. No matter which controller/Xbox combination I try, there is now a lag between the time I push a button on the controller and the time the Xbox recognizes it. I have tried this on 3 different Xboxes, all different versions, each with three different controllers. Any idea what is causing this and has anyone else had this problem?

ya the game is big. also, how old the controllers? could be the cables loose or sumptin (higly doubt it but its a factor)

Any games, it even does it on the Microsoft Dashboard. The oldest controller I have had for about 4 years and the newest is a logitech wireless which is only about 2 years old. I have tried other controllers as well, 2 s-types and a madcatz controller all on three different Xboxes. They all do it even when not running any games. Am I just running out of luck with trying to get an Xbox that doesnt do this or is it a problem with all of the controllers or a mix?

I reckon your mind is playing tricks on YOU

the only other thing i can think of is an old tv/ bad av cables?

i was having this same problem but i figured out i was going through my kids tivo instead of directly to my kids tv.

now that i went directly to the tv all is well.
