well 3 days ago i bought my pieces off of newegg and they showed up yesterday while i was at work

today after school i started building my new rig

specs

p4 640 3.0 ghz with HT
elitegroup 945p-a motherboard
asus en6200tc512 video card
patriot ddr2 667 512mb ram
200 gig WD harddrive

im installing xp right now and it should be ready to use in about 40 minutes

ill post pics once my computer is up and running

Nice specs! Make sure you get the RAM timings right. Even though it isn't a lot of RAM, it is decent stuff. I always disable indexing too on new installs.

im going to buy another stick of the same ram

i must say this is at least 6X faster than my other pc
