Alright, so here's the problem. I just got a brand new laptop (hooray) and upon start up, it doesn't automatically detect my wireless router. It DOES have a wireless card (Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG) but, it doesn't seem to want to pick up the wireless signal. Is there anything I can do to make it?

My sisters laptop had problem with windows not detecting wireless networks, I was able to fix it by installing the intel wireless program and it works perfectly now. One more thing, you do know theres a switch on the laptop to turn it on.

A quick read of the manual prevailed that there was a switch >.< god I'm dumb.
