I have some Computer Parts for sale-
Intel Pentium 4 650 3.4ghz h/t Processor
Asus P5ND2-SLI Deluxe Motherboard
Thermaltake 680w PSU
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS 7.1 Sound Card
Netgear 108mb/s wireless PCI card
Zalman Reserator 1 Plus liquid cooling system
Whether the CPU and/or mobo would out perform anything you had in mind.. I highly doubt it. Though, the mobo is pretty godly..both barely used (less then 5 times)...But anyways, it would be a cheap combo if you bought both

Nice motherboard, but I'm currently using an
eVGA 133-K8-NF43 and quite happy with it... I got it with a combo deal on an eVGA 7800GT 256mb, then sold that and got an eVGA 6800GS 256mb...
I'm also really a huge fan of AMD, I have never really liked Intel CPU's, too hot, too much work, I prefer AMD and Nvidia for everything...
Also, the P4 650 3.4ghz cpu only slightly outperforms the 3700+ and I'm looking for a major increase in productivity and speed, so as you said, it's not going to outperform what I have in mind, lol
I do need a new PSU though since I'm running my current PC off of a
SilverStone 360W PSU...
I already have the 7.1 taken care of thanks to cheap onboard sound and my godly Home Theater...
I have wireless covered...
I was looking into buying one of those Zalman reserators but decided not to based off of what ppl on the EOC forums told me...
(that was before I got banned from EOC without ever having any type of warning, for asking about javascript coding on my website with a SINGLE link to my website, in the HTML subforum.... yes... banned... .permanently... with the reason, "Go Spamvertise your site somewhere else"... fun stuff!)Anyways...
I'm still extremely bummed out about the price of the
previously $70 Patriot Memory... I really need another GB... but I also need a 21" WS LCD, another 250 GB HD, a new PSU, and an FX-55...
Meh!
