as for your first question:
using some dvd authoring software, you should be able to get a few episodes onto a disc. maybe 4 or more, depending on the quality of the video and how long they go for. have a look around for free dvd authoring software. take not that this software is very hardware intensive on your computer, and can take several hours even on a top end computer

as for your second question:
are you looking for something that eliminates the voice, so you end up with just the music? i know that using some circuitry you can eliminate the vocals as they are recorded in mono and just recorded over the top of the stereo music. im not sure if you can get software that can do this though.
have a look around some downloads web sites, and do some goggling and see what you can find.
