Some random guy contacted me on AIM saying that my accout was going to be suspended unless I told them some information. Obviosuly a someone trying to steal account info... Heres the convo:

AIM Data Errors (12:03:24 PM): Hi
Needforspeed924 (12:03:28 PM): hello
AIM Data Errors (12:03:30 PM): How are you?
Needforspeed924 (12:03:33 PM): good you?
AIM Data Errors (12:03:45 PM): Great, thanks
Needforspeed924 (12:04:06 PM): what do you need today?
AIM Data Errors (12:04:19 PM): I'm Josh Brens from the AOL/AIM team. Sorry for disturbing you today, however, 30,000+ screen names have been stolen. We have hundreds of AIM/AOL employees looking into this, meaning we need to ask every AIM/AOL user a series of questions. If one of the answers does not match the information you provided, your screen name will be suspended. So please don't take this as a joke as we're just trying to make AIM/AOL more conveinent for it's users.
Needforspeed924 (12:04:43 PM): ah sorry I'd rather have my account suspended
AIM Data Errors (12:04:52 PM): Okay. Thank you for your time
Needforspeed924 (12:04:54 PM): np

Watch out for these guys and don't get them any info!

People still actually do this???

Well anyway,  When I was about 15 or 16, I used to do this stuff.  I found a backdoor through aol check out that lets me order off aol and have it charged to the account's credit card.  If its an aim account, theres nothing that can be done with the password, but aol alot can or used to be done.
