Hey everyone...

first things first...
1.0 xbox
Xecuter 2.3b+ lite

I have been using a 200gig Maxtor for a few years now.. It started making clicking noises recently and after a few days of random noises I started getting error screen every now and then during boot phase...

one day I got error 9, turned off turned on and it worked again... two days later got error 7, turned off and then on and it worked again..

now I tried to use an original HD that came with the xbox that was also modded... plug it in and I get error 7!

I am wondering what the heck is going on... I bought a new 200 gig and will install soon, but is something wrong with other parts of my hardware? Is the timing off during the boot phase and the HD is not spinning up when it should or something?  any help appreciated! Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
