Xp Media Centre

i have recently installed xp media centre on my system and every thing works fine appart from video playback nothing will play on it even the test videos i just get a jumpy black screen for a couple of seconds then i get a screen that says options "restart", "delete" and "done". ive tryed everything i can think of and nothing works can some one please give me some advice?

Got it working now turns out i did'nt try everything i updated my drivers and it's running like a good 'en now
