According to BroadbandReports.com, I have a 7801k download and a 438k upload. Nothing too special, but it works.

BroadbandReports has the most accurate speed test available.

I have a 50Mbps fibre-optic connection that I have tested at 26Mbps D/l

How is that possible to test?

The server would have to be able to upload to you at 26Mbps...

What did you use to test the connection speed?

LMAO

Internet 2 doesn't.."come out"

Internet 2 is a closed connection of computers that is used for testing programs and services on before releasing it to the entire public. It only allows companies to fine tune their software before putting it on the internet, so that major vulnerabilities and problems aren't so devastating.
