To my knowledge ripping game images has not been acomplished yet on the PSP.

Personaly I think it is a more likely senerio for game backup playback may be running them directly from a memory card, since the PSP supports large memory cards and the running of programs from it(as seen with the firmware update), but then this is just speculation.

well think about this

somebody should make a pack for the psp the interfaces with the memory slot but it would be a basic laptop hd with a self contained battery pack now something like that would sell just think of the possiblities

Personaly I would love to have an adapter, from Compact Flash to the Memory Stick Duo.  I know there are adapters from Memory Stick Duo to Compact Flash. There might be speed issues.
Something like the A.R.M. Memory Stick Jacket for the psp. I think both are the types of sticks are the same relitive format, (just diffrent physical sizes) making the full size stick to dual sitck conversion simple.

It will be entertaining to see what happens as people begin to develop new accessories for it.

and yeah the memory card could be an option..but the umds are like 2 gigs right? and the largest memory stick duo right now is around 2 gigs for almost a thousand bucks..

so i'm not buying that large of a memory card to hjold one game, let alone am i spending a thousand bucks to back up a few games

BUT, i like the idea about some sort of converter, maybe a converter will be released to link to external hard drives and such, now that's a thought

The only game dumping you'll see is the ability to play PSP while sitting in the loo.

For quite a while at least.
