If you have enough priviledges to set up a network there is a way to network into it.  If I can find the instructions I will post them here but I can't promise I can find them.

Why dont you get your friends dad to find out what the password is?

If you cant get the password and the current net setup wont work then
your only option other than a format/reload is an NT password reset disk.
Google for it. Its there.

If the pc requires the admin password for programs chances are you wont be able
to install LC5 anyway. So dont bother.

Heres the link for the reset disk. Look down towards the bottom under "how do I get it".
Get someone thats pc savy to help you with it.

If you're not to shy about linux, you could always use changentpw (change nt password) and just reset the password to blank and then do whatever you want.  It's not terribly difficult to use but if you're afraid of linux, you're best off finding another tool.  If you want to try it, download the latest version of Knoppix STD.  It's on there under the password tools shell.
