Hard drives, ram, and if you want rounded cables or something specific that.  Also, keyboard, mouse monitor, speakers etc.

Best performance\value ram I would go with PDP.  They are just starting out and making a reputation for themselves.  I've started using their ram alot, and have not yet had any incompatabiltiy problems with it.

Here are some sets of ram.  512MB Dual Channel and 1GB Dual Channel.

Hard drives you said you were gonna get at a local place, so you're pretty much set.

well, the best amount of RAM is 1GB (thats 2 peices of 512mb RAM)

and a good speed is either PC3200, or PC3700 (depending on what your mobo supports)

well the mobo will take up to 4gigs of ram and i think the highest speed listed was ddr400 which if im not mistaken is pc3200

EDIT: oh and i will be doing some gaming but that is not the only purpose for it

what is so special about dual channel ram uhh.gif

if i go to oc the cpu will i need faster ram and would it be better for me to get faster ram i mean it says the board only takes 2 something, 333 and 400 ram

heh $250 is a bit too much to spend on some ram...

i use a Corsair ValueSelect 512MB stick right now that i paid $70 for in my athlon 64 system @ 2.5-3-3-7 timings and @ 222mhz, ordering another 512MB next week
