Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I don't know where else it could go.

My Xbox has been modded for almost a year and has worked fine, untill three days ago.
On Sunday, my Xbox had turned off suddenly with no warning and wouldn't start up.  I unplugged everything and let it cool down for a couple of minutes, then came back and continued to play.  
Then just yesterday, it turned off on me again.  I let it cool down again, then continued to play.  I loaded halo 2's campaign (no mods or anything), and before it loaded, it shut down and wont turn on now.  

I tried using a different power cord, and a different socket, but that didn't work.  The little green light on the mic dongle goes on every time I push power, so I hope it's nothing to bad.  There was also a very quick power outage two weeks ago that turned off my Xbox 360 when I was playing on live, but my Xbox is connected to a surge protector.

-Xbox wont turn on
