Cant Fit Windows On A Cd-r?

so does anyone  know if :

A) i can delete some unneccesary files from the setup( which if you know)

Just set your burning software to overburn the disc and you should be fine.. or burn to DVD (those things are down nearly as cheap as CDs now-a-days).

I didn't know MS was still taking applicants for the longhorn beta..

Try using something like WinZip to compress it, and when you need to install, unzip it to your hard drive.

He already has it on his hard drive!

how can i unzip an OS, when most of the files are in the setup.exe...............

how about splitting it onto 2 cd's...

or extracting the setup .exe first & burning the files onto disks
