mince plays fine at 800x600 on medium with a gefroce 4 ti 4600 128m    2.26 ghz 800fsb processor and 512 megs of ram...

Spency, I get the same thing, I think it's because the BETA drivers don't include the WDM drivers needed by All in Wonder cards to capture video.

Here's the WDM drivers separate from the Display drivers and control panel:

Well I installed that and rebooted, unknown devices are still there, but at least it's not popping up the "Add New Hardware Wizard" 8-9 times every time I reboot.

Wow so your all saying that If I install the 4.9 BETA drivers I won't be able to record video anymore? If so not worth it for me......my machine is 80% of the time used as a DVR....

for the person with the video problem...burn the Drivers from ATI onto cd... then boot into safe mode and unistall all ur drivers that are unknown...reboot put the cd in and install the card should fix ur problem did for me with the same problem!

if you really want to improve doom3's performance... well... tweakguides (the god of all performace tweakguides) finished their's for doom3.... behold DOOM 3
