lol good luck with doom 3 and that vid card, it can barely run on my gforce fx5200(thank god im getting a 9800pro this week lol)

I know, the only thing there which meets the minimum requirements is the processor (Doom needs at least a 1500, I have a 2000) smile.gif

Lol, I don't even want to think about playing Doom on the card that's coming with it.

Because of the fact that not many new PC games run on a 600 MHz laptop, I haven't been able to keep up with PC gaming in the past as much as I would have liked to.  However, now that I'm getting a new PC, I may as well make sure it's at least a little up-to-date.  So what card should I get?  An Nvidia or an ATI?  Which model?  I want to make sure it's decent enough to keep me going for a while, but I wouldn't want to get one that's overly expensive or that's overkill for the system.

if u got the $$$ i would get the nvidia 6800gt, but if ur lookin for a pretty good, card that isnt overly expensive i would go with the 9800pro(and make sure u get the 256bit one if u decide to buy this card) im also buyin a new video card, im buyin a sapphire version of the 9800pro 256 bit smile.gif
