Yeah I saw the link @ firingsquad

Well it was a joke, but it was more like a pun because I did just get back from Hell in the game when I posted that.

Let me tell ya, this game is long. It's beautiful.

I would've been extremely disappointed if it looked good played awesome and was short. It's nice and drawn out, like it should be. This game is epic.

The best part is the scares never get old. Each time an Imp jumps out from behind a wall panel or jumps at me as I open a door it makes my hair on my arms stand up. It's like my heart skips a beat.

Just wait until you have to deal with Hell-Knights all the time. Sigh...

I think I'm on the last level now near the archealogical dig site @ site 3. Well I think it's the last level anyway...

Doom 4 rocks but I can't run it on the system that's in my sig. If you think you can help please check the thread I have i this forum. Its the one that said Help Pc fragged /Blue screen etc. etc.

Search every nook and cranny of every room

Before I got sent to Hell I had 249 shotty shells. LOL

Only reason I had so many is cuz I stopped using the shotty as soon as I started running into the chaingunners and the revenants.

That's what the chaingun is for. Mwahahaha.

Seriously though, the shotgun is easily one of the more powerful weapons. It pretty much can kill any enemy quickly at point blank range. Even the bubble gum monsters as I used to call em back in the day. I dunno what they are called now, the big dog things. They take two shells to the dome and they are dead if it's at point blank. The trick is trying to get that close without getting hit. lol

I think the only one it's not effective on is the Hell Knight. He definitely shrugs it off pretty easily. My best tip for those is make sure you have a chaingun and aim for the upperchest/head, like train in on the middle of his chest and unload all 60 rounds into him. Easiest way to kill em.

Oh and for the record I beat it on Marine, which is normal.

Yeah I just now got the gattling gun. I really liked the whole
martianbuddy.com thing. A pain in the ass to quit the game and go to the Web site
but I apprecaited the humor.......LOL....now for the fun part....mowing down hellknights....

Just got it here in the Uk and first impressions is very good but i`ve not played enough yet to see. Got it running ok on my 5200 FX (Need to upgrade that but) & graphics are excellent. Anyone else running it on the 5200?, what the best settings to put that particular card on?

Where is the Doom 3 editor that it talks about in the read-me?, i`ve checked the discs but i`ve had no luck finding it.
