Centrino Or Tablet Or Mac

If you don't mind the price, tablets are amazing.  In my opinion, drawing/working with graphics is amazing with a touchscreen as opposed to a mouse/touchpad (you mentioned photoshop)

Documents work fine on just about anything.  Mac might have some compatibility issues, but there's MS office for it available, so it shouldn't be a problem.

As for long flights, laptop batteries aren't really long-lasting (I heard tablet pc's have much longer battery-life)  Don't know much about macs here.

I'd recommend the tablet over the mac.

Seeing as how you still want answers:
Based on 15 years experience and countless heartbreaks and countless joyous moments with all kinds of hardware - the current crop of Centrino laptops break new ground in terms of battery life and features. Windows XP is so far in advance of all other operating systems after years of ME/98 crap that it finally justifies MSs position in the market.
Get an IBM Centrino or similiar and you will be well satisfied. Tablets - not yet!
IMHO.

tongue.gif . It's Centrino-based and light enough (6.9 lbs, I think). The price just dropped considerably because of Dell's new 9100 and XPS laptops.
