Putting An Avi Onto A Dvd
« on: February 28, 2004, 05:37:00 PM »

Hi, i wanna put some avi's onto a dvd to watch in any dvd player.  how do i do that.  I use DVDshrink to make backups of my movies, so i am familiar with that.  Do i need to change it into a .vob file?  how would i have it so a few different video files are on the same DVD seperated by chapters?  Like chapter 1 would be the first video file, chapter 2 would be the second video file, and so on.  Any help would be wonderful.  thanks a lot

EDIT.... i'm not going to respond to this thread because my problem has become somethign different than the title and i want the title to fit the problem.  I don't need to deal with avi's anymore so i just need to know how to convert mpg's to vob

i used the tmpge video author to change my mpegs to the proper format.

cost me 90 bucks for software just so i could watch red vs blue on my dvd player but it was worth it)
