How To Copy Fatx Files To Other Hd On Pc

you need to put the HD back in the xbox, ftp into it, and copy the files to your new, non-fatx HD. There is no other way to do this.

theres something wrong with your files, or your hd is corrupt.  i ftp'd my entire xbox to my PC, for back up.  while moving things around i moved these files from 1 hd to nother hd, and then copied them to another computer through standard windows xp sharing.  windows has no problem reading them.  i then ftp'd everything back to a cleanly formatted xbox and it works fine, didnt even lose my saved games.
