cool.gif suffered with an old awia bookshelf system with a semi working CD player for 3 months to save up for the reciever and the two front towers (about 2 years ago)... I've slowly been adding to it since.. the year after that I got the rears and a center, then a few months ago I got the rear center and the sub (those towers produce enormous bass on their own).

I usually alternate what I spend my money on... I'd rather have a few really nice things than a lot of really crappy thing. that year it was my stereo this year its my pc... had a Athalon T-Bird 1.3Ghz up until a short while ago when I dropped some $ on the XP and a liquid cooling system... I'll be slowly upgrading the rest of it.

Oh yeah.  Well I have a 1.2GHz Sony Vaio with 512MB of ram and a Geforce 4.  What now bitches!?!?!?!?!  I also have a 32" RCA TV that's 5 years old.

So my TV and PC aren't exactly top of the line, but I do have a 21" penis that you can suck on.  Who's the man now?

yeah i've got a mag innovison 21" monitor that has a slight color alignment problem that i'm gonna fix to replace this one 21" trinitron, it's like 7 years old now, and ready for retirement.  i don't game on the pc, so that's why i don't have any top of the line graphics cards, heh these two pci video cards probably cost about $50 each when i got them.

Good man.  It's nice to see other enthusiasts who realize AMD is garbage, and don't worship them as some sort of deity.

EDIT:

PC SPECS:

Desktop (house)

Intel Pentium 4 3066MHz HT
ASUS P4T533-C
1024MB PC-1066 RDRAM
Sound Blaster Audigy 2
ATi RADEON 9700 Pro
Maxtor 80GB HDD
2x Front Intake 80mm Vantec Fans
2x Rear Output 80mm Vantec Fans
1x Side graphics cooler 120mm Enermax Fan (installed recently with case window)

Laptop (college)

Dell Latitute D800
Intel Pentium 1600MHz Centrino
512MB DDR
nVidia Geforce 4200 2go 64MB

Not bad for a laptop, I think.

let's see, I have my xbox, 13" TV, 15" monitor, 60W stereo, and my computer:

AMD Athlon XP 2400+
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe
256 MB PC 2700 DDR
Albatron GeForce Ti4200 256mb
Seagate 40gb Barracuda 7200.7
Sony 52x/24x/52x drive

Probably the weakest setup here, but I'm 15 and I have no job, and my computer runs much better than any of my friends.

The PC and monitor are in a seperate room, but the computer is hooked up to the TV w/ wireless keyboard and mouse for viewing pictures, watching videos on PC, and internet browsing.  I'll try to get a pick soon.  pwned.

How did you get your sub hooked up? With a car amp or a home theater amp. I have been trying to get it to work for a week!
