I purchased this cable off of eBay for a possible Linux project I may dive into with my Xbox:

I also have the USB to Xbox cord already.

Does the cable I purchased off of eBay work well? It stands that it allows you to use both a mouse and keyboard at the same time, using the same port. Does that work well?

I dunno if that will work, the way I understand it is the adapter is actually a small hub just with PS/2 connections.
