Normaly I use a slightly moist with Alcohol q-tip and wipe off the proccesser, and then brushing the chip with a dry q-tip. You don't want use anything that could leave residue or damage the chip.
While this is a far cry from as clean as some of the other methods, it's what I use (sometimes subtuting the alcohol with another less enviromental friendly product).
