Upgrading Xbox Cpu

Hi folks,

Is there a tutorial around on upgrading the ol' XBox's CPU to the 1.4 GHz processor?  I wanna do the upgrade so I can play x264 720p episodes with XBMC on my XBox.  Right now, they either don't play at all or drop frames like mad and aren't watchable.

No, there is no tutorial. The only person who does cpu upgrades is trusty here on xbox-scene he upgrades the cpu to a 1ghz.

From what i know you need a socket adapter which is totaly impossible to buy now and extremly hard to find
