well I use Forte Agent and it works great for me. Updates fairly quickly. The one thing I am not sure of tho is when you say multiple downloads do you mean more than one download at a time? With Agent you can only do one, but queue others to start when the download completes. I guess you can technically do 2 by "getting marked message bodies" for one download and then "getting selected message bodies" for another. The only thing with the getting selected message bodies is that they will not be automatically saved to your download folder, you have to do it manually.
