Bittorrent Speeds

My BitTorrent download speeds are very varied on one file im getting 20-30K/s, (this is not normal, normally I get 5>) but on another with more seeds and peers its very low, 5>. Im on 512k/s broadband and im using TorrentStorm, although I have tried other clients (Official 3.3 and Shadows) and still don't notice a change, TorrentStorm seems to give faster results. Im behind a Nortan Firewall. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

you'll want to make norton allow bitorrent full access.
i personally use the client "azureus". works well for me. lotsa features too.
