Well it isnt possible to plug a AGP8X card on a AGP4X rite? Srry, for q, but need proof for my father, so i can buy a new mother board and graphic card at once.

Horseshit. The AGP 8x card will just run at AGP 4x speeds.

the slot is identical except some mobo's come with the little extra spot on the front of the slot for a AGP Pro card, and they will fit and it's all backwards compatible.

my Radeon 9800 pro scores 5166 in 3d mark 2003 with 8x agp

on 4x i get 5128

so little a diff it dun matter
