You people with your silly slow machines...
I've got three fully functioning machines, but only one of them is really worth talking about.
Here's my new computer:
Pentium 4 3GHz with 800MHz front side bus
Intel D865PERL motherboard
Integrated 5.1 sound (Analog, Coaxial and Optical digital outs)
Integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet
GeForce FX5600 Ultra (256 Meg)
160 G of HD space (Have 600 Gigs on my server)
Sony DVD+/-RW burner
No silly lights or windows. I don't need that. My power bill is already high enough, thank you.
It's a nice little machine. Just built it Saturday.
My only complaint is that I wanted to use my 50" HDTV as a monitor, but the computer sees my TV as a plug-n-play monitor and only lets me use 640x480x8bit as a resolution. ARGH! What good is DVI-D if it can't do better than that?
